ROBERT WEATHERFORD
Mondays & Wednesdays | June 24 – August 28 | 9am– 1:00pm | $50 + $15 materials (This class is held at the Stone Building on Willow Street. All skill levels welcome.)
This class is for students of all levels who wish to render their internal landscapes or the movement of their spirit. The idea is for the student to be able to construct a painting both physically as well as conceptually, whether still life, landscape, abstraction, or other. Using acrylics, students will learn the aesthetic, emotional, and spatial properties of the various colors and how to use them to convey work from the soul rather than the intellect. They will be given encouragement, constructive criticism, and technical advice.
Students can bring their own materials or use the Ah Haa’s provided materials (one 29″x41″ sheet of paper and acrylic paints) for an additional $15 fee. Additional paper is $5 per sheet. Five-class punch cards are available. Groups of five or more students should contact the school in advance. Otherwise, simply show up on the day of class.
